Busy Bee Home Daycare, LLC - Parent and Guardian Guidelines

1. Payment Policy

  • Weekly Payments: All payments are due weekly and must be paid in advance. Payments should be submitted each Friday for the following week. This ensures that we can continue to provide high-quality care and resources for your children without interruption.

  • Grace Period for Late Payments: We understand that unexpected situations can arise. As such, parents/guardians are allowed a grace period of up to one week to make late payments without incurring a penalty. However, we encourage timely payments to help maintain the quality of our daycare services.

  • Late Payment Fee: If payment is not received by the end of the one-week grace period, a late fee of $50 will be charged. Continuous late payments may necessitate further actions, including a discussion with the daycare management to explore possible solutions or adjustments.

  • Unpaid Time Off: Each child is allowed two unpaid weeks off per year, which must be scheduled at least one month in advance with the daycare management. This does not affect the accumulation of late fees for other overdue payments.

2. Drop-off and Pick-up Times

  • Operating Hours: Busy Bee Home Daycare is open from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Please adhere to these times to ensure a consistent routine for all children.

  • Late Pick-up Fee: A fee of $5 will be charged for every 15 minutes past the designated pick-up time, to cover the extra care and supervision provided by our staff.

3. Health and Safety

  • Immunizations: All children must have up-to-date vaccinations as recommended by the state health department. Please provide vaccination records upon enrollment and notify us of any updates.

  • Sick Policy: Children with a fever, vomiting, or other contagious symptoms should be kept at home to prevent the spread of illness. Children must be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning to daycare.

4. Nutrition

  • Meals and Snacks: We provide nutritious snacks and meals. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions your child may have upon registration.

5. Behavior and Discipline

  • Code of Conduct: We promote a respectful and kind environment. Positive reinforcement is used to encourage good behavior, and parents will be notified if consistent behavioral issues arise.

  • Bullying Policy: Bullying is not tolerated. Immediate action will be taken to address such issues, including meetings with parents and potential suspension if necessary.

6. Emergency Procedures

  • Emergency Contact Information: Parents must provide up-to-date emergency contact information. In case of an emergency, we will contact you via the provided information.

  • Evacuation Drills: Regular evacuation drills are conducted to ensure children know how to respond in the event of an emergency.
